Grading Service

At The Cinnabar Lounge, we offer a grading submission service to help customers send their Pokémon cards to professional grading companies. We carefully prepare and package all submissions to ensure cards are handled securely throughout the process.

Please note that we do not grade the cards ourselves and therefore cannot guarantee any specific grade or grading outcome. Final grades are determined entirely by the grading company based on their own standards and evaluation process.

For submissions to PSA, we work together with a trusted third-party submission service that handles the final submission process on behalf of our customers. Cards submitted for PSA grading will first be delivered by us to this third-party partner.

For submissions to TAG, we handle the submission process ourselves directly.

Grading turnaround times may vary depending on the grading company, submission volume, shipping times, and other external factors. Because of this, we cannot guarantee exact completion or return dates beforehand, but once we know a date we will keep you up to date.

While we take great care in handling and shipping all submissions, customers acknowledge that grading and shipping always involve some level of risk, including possible delays, loss, or damage outside of our control.

Our mission is to provide a reliable and transparent service while helping collectors protect, display, and preserve their cards professionally.

Begin Your Submission

Every successful restoration or grading submission starts with accurate information. Our submission form allows you to provide all the necessary details about yourself and your cards, ensuring a smooth and efficient process from start to finish.

Simply complete the form with your contact information, service preferences, and card details. Once submitted, our team will carefully review your request and guide your cards through the restoration and grading process with the attention and care they deserve.

For your convenience, we also have submission forms available at all major card shows we attend, making it easy to start your submission in person.

A well-prepared submission helps us deliver the highest level of service while keeping you informed every step of the way.

Where can I hand in my cards?

There are two options:

- You can hand them over to us at a convention show
- You can send them per mail to our adress. For more details, you can send us a e-mail.

What does grading cost?

Prices vary depending on the submission tier and the time you send them. If you wish to send cards, we will contact you shortly to discuss the current prices.

How do you guys handle upcharges?

We always encourage our customers to choose a submission tier that matches the value of their cards. This helps minimize the risk of additional charges (upcharges) being applied by the grading company.

However, if an upcharge does occur, the additional cost will be the customer’s responsibility. We will pay the upcharge in advance to ensure that we can retrieve the card from our grading partner.

Once the card has been returned to us, you can pay the upcharge directly to us. After payment, you can either collect your graded card at one of the conventions where we have a booth, or have it shipped to you directly (shipping cost are for the customer aswell).

What happens when a delivery gets lost or damaged?

So far, we haven’t experienced any of these circumstances. However, if this were to occur, we would maintain close contact with our third-party provider to resolve the issue.
Depending on the submission tier, your cards will always be insured up to a specific amount.

Can you guys tell me if my card would be worth to grade?

Yes, of course.

We do provide a ''pre-grading service'' where we check your cards on any malfunctions and/or measure the sides. This service costs €5 per card and will included in the grading cost (if you want to grade it)
